The food was very good. However, I ordered off their website, directly under empresswok.com as opposed to Skip The Dishes or other sites. It showed that was their preferred option. When I went to pick up the order, they ADDED 20% to their base cost for ordering online. Nowhere on the site that I saw did it say this. I was told, when I questioned the additional charge, that it was a "fee" that the website added to use the site. I can totally understand it if it's an outside website like Skip The Dishes. They told me, obviously after the fact, that had I called in the order the higher price per dish would not have been added. So the cost of each item on the website is 20% higher than if you call it in. To top it off, HST was added on top of this additional fee as well. So while the food would have received a 5 star rating, this hidden fee would have received a zero rating (if possible). So heads up, if you're picking up, call your order in.

It used to be so good! But the chicken balls have changed, they are big and full of tendons. The rice was really bland, we got vermicelli noodles that had no taste. However, my husband loved his hot and sour soup! I was so sad this used to be my fav place to order!
